CITY ALL STAR GAME

Posted: Monday, May 18, 2009 at 08:13

The North Catholic Football Program was well represented in the 35th Annual Philadelphia City All Star game. Seven seniors were selected to participate and all played well. WR Mike Scott had one catch and numerous pancake blocks on Pub DB's. Blake Graham & Steve Sipos helped control the line of scrimmage for the Non-Pub offense that totaled 455 yds on the day. On defense LBs Eric Moore and Joe Mascino filled holes nicely and up front, Kyle Fellenbaum and Pete Puchalski made the Pub offense mostly non-existent. Pete lead the Non Pub Team in tackles and was named the Non Pub Defensive Player of the Game; making it 2 years in a row that a NC player has won this award and 3 years in succession that a NC player has won an MVP award in the game. Also, during the City All Star Banquet, Eric Moore was awarded the Jim DeVirgilis Award. The Coaching Staff, Parents Club and entire school congratulate these players for representing NC so well!

6th Annual Golf Outing Held!

Rainy Start Turns into Great Day!

Despite early morning rain, the North Catholic Football program's 6th Annual Football Outing was a big success! Our golfers enjoyed a light breakfast, a fun round of golf and a hot buffet lunch at Northeast Philly's Byrne Golf Course. Thanks go to everyone who helped make the day a success, whether by donating, setting up, serving, cleaning up and of course by golfing, too!
